This global holiday was officially set in 2015 by member countries of the International Coffee Organization (ICO). Beyond honoring this delicious drink, the day also aims to support fair trade and sustainable conditions for coffee farmers in developing countries.
Why is coffee so popular?
Coffee is a true phenomenon today, loved by millions of people around the world. The first coffee was brought to Europe in the early 17th century, and today it’s firmly rooted in our culture.
